  • Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (1099) to join our corporate team in San Diego, CA. 



    • Will work in tandem with the CTO and a cloud engineer to build an application developed and hosted within a cloud environment.
    • Will discuss requirements with the team, create the UI and the end user UX, design, implement, and test the UI portion of the application.
    • Will work with a small set of internal testing personnel to test early versions of the product prior to release.
    • Will be responsible for responding to additional requirements, bug notifications, and enhancement requests to bugfix, develop, and enhance the product over time.
    • Will work with a graphics designer who will produce the necessary graphical elements for the UI.


    • 2 - 4 years' experience developing in C#.NET and ASP.NET.
    • 2 - 4 years' experience developing web applications with ASP.NET Core MVC.
    • 2 - 4 years' with client-side frameworks such as Angular, React, Bootstrap, Aurelia, Knockout, etc.
    • Fluent in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3.
    • Must have experience creating responsive web design UIs.
    • Must be able to work in a small development team.
    • Must have excellent communication skills.
    • Must  be a self-starter and able to follow guidance well.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience using ASP.NET Core MVC Razor Pages.
    • Experience with personalization techniques and "skinning."
    • Experience with A/B testing.
    • Experience following a Software Development Lifecycle approach (especially SCRUM or other Agile approaches).
    • Experience with secure coding: must know and use techniques to prevent OWASP Top 10 web application security risks.
    • Experience creating UIs that are fully ADA/Section 508-compliant.
    • Experience developing web applications deployed within a cloud environment.
