  • Overview

    We are seeking a Sr. Logistics Specialist to coordinate all United States Air Force (USAF) matters for the MPO reporting to the MPO APM-L development. The candidate will coordinate and manage all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) products and services on the Multifunctional Information Distributioin System (MIDS) program in San Diego, CA.


    • The candidate will support ILS acquisition, technical and managerial skills required to provide necessary ILS requirements for the design, development, integration, implementation and evolution of all assigned programs and initiatives.
    • The candidate will work closely with USAF Platforms to ensure the following:
      • Identify all MPO required information.
      • Support ILS requirements and implement of logistics support plans to meet those requirements.
      • Communicate of MIDS products and capabilities to Air Force platforms.
      • Coordinate with WRALC for PICA and depot level communication and projects, as required.  
    • Specific integrated logistics support planning may include the following:  Configuration Management/Status Accounting, Supply Support/Supply Management, System Training Planning and Implementation, Maintenance Engineering and Planning, Systems Integration/Engineering, Systems Operation and Maintenance Training and Technical Manuals, Reliability and Maintainability/System Safety assessments, and Cost/Schedule (Program) Control.
    • The candidate will participate in conducting supportability studies, reliability and maintainability analyses, and assessments and remedial actions for assigned systems, as required.  
    • The candidate will translate requirements to specifications and coordinate development of Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Maintenance Concepts/Plans, Acquisition Management Plans, Logistics Requirements and Funding Summaries (LRFS), Program Support Data Sheets (PSD), Warranty Plans and Assessments, Logistics Support Systems Specifications, and Proposals.  
    • The candidate will evaluate ILS impact on configuration management and engineering change proposals. 
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • A current active clearance is required to be considered for this role.
    • A minimum of five (5) years of ILS experience supporting a DoD or comparable government agency.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline.
    • DAWIA certification in Logistics or Program Management is highly desirable.
    • Microsoft Office proficiency.
    • Proficient analytical skills, adept at problem solving with a high attention to detail.
