    We are seeking a Sr. Configuration Manager to support a government client in San Diego, CA!

    Responsibilities

    • Populate and complete Enterprise Change Requests (ECRs) in CMPro and SPIDER, and facilitate their vetting through appropriate approval processes and configuration control boards.
    • Act as central coordination point with team functional leads, developers, etc. (Engineering, Cybersecurity, Test & Evaluation, Logistics, etc.) to complete and gather Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
    • Participate in various Technical Review Boards.
    • Coordinate, participate in, facilitate and create briefings in support of Program Office Configuration Control Board (CCB), Platform Technical Review Board (PTRB) and other required Program Office specific meetings.
    • Assist in the sustainment of interfaces, client connectivity, and use of the supporting program/project databases.
    • Manage Contract Deliverables (CDRL), while reporting the timeliness of vendor software deliveries.
    • Create CDRL reviews in CMPro, and manage the final approval process of CDRLs.
    • Review and provide recommendations for Vendor’s contractual CDRL requirements.
    • Create document repository placeholders and upload Program documentation to NSERC and/or CMPro.
    • Create and manage Configuration Baselines, including the parent-child relationship between Configuration Items/ Documentation.
    • Provide Technical Baseline Reports for System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events and Data Calls.
    • Support Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA).
    • Review and implement software naming and numbering standards in accordance with PEO C4I Naming and Numbering Standards.
    • Assist others in the use of CMPro to locate CDRL, program documents and ECRs.
    • Support continuous improvement efforts across PMW 150 program.
    • Assist in updating the PMW CMP as required.
    • Attend and provide CM inputs for Program Office, Divisional and Functional meetings.
      • Submit Variant Requests.
      • Coordinate the delivery of SW lists from vendor.
      • Create configurations, upload SW lists, and associate ECR to configurations, and manage existing configurations in SPIDER/CAPS.
      • Coordinate with Cybersecurity engineers for Cyber Compliance data.
      • Respond to PEO C41 Data calls and update MAR C2 roadmap.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field.
    • 1-2 years’ experience on a software development project.
    • Knowledge of the Acquisition process, including different Acquisition phases and different ACAT levels.
    • Familiar with Waterfall, Agile, Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and DEVOPS software environments.
    • Outgoing and proactive communicator with excellent written and verbal skills to interact with all levels of personnel.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Proficiency with Configuration Management toolsets (e.g. NSERC, CMPro, Confluence, SPIDER, Jira, etc.).
    • Ability to work in a highly technical, engineering environment.
    • Ability to gain familiarity with functionality of Navy C2 systems.
    • Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects at once.
    • Must be organized, detail oriented, and an effective communicator.
