As a member of Sentek Global’s PMW 760 team, you’ll support activities related to the cybersecurity design, integration, and testing of the USS Zumwalt Ship Class. Our success is in providing engineering and cybersecurity expertise to support the accreditation, certification, integration, and fielding of the PEO C4I Program of Record (POR) and Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE's) systems onto the unique Total Ship Computing (TSCE) Shipboard Network.

The C4I Integration team fields support calls, develops critical documentation and standard operating procedures, provides on-board technical assistance, generates and tracks IT service management tickets, and executes and tracks hardware, software, and license procurements for multiple assets.

The Cyber team supports accreditations, Memorandum for Records (MFR's), and Interconnection Security Agreements (ISA) compliance for 20 PEO C4I systems, Cross Domain Solution certification and integration, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) support for CFE systems.

The job and the team allow for opportunities to cross-train. There are many team building events as a DDG 1000 team and PMW 760 team, and the overall team dynamic and atmosphere is great.

Reporting to the Account Manager, the Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer will provide Risk Management Framework (RMF) support services to PMW 760 in San Diego, CA.

• Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) Cyber Security Certifications.
• Assist with Cyber Green events aboard Navy ships. Requirement includes travel during the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Facilitating the development of documentation in support of DoD RMF accreditations, perform vulnerability management activities, and oversee the creation and submission of DoD (RMF) packages.
• Provide Cybersecurity, privacy analysis, and consulting throughout the security assessment and compliance life cycle process.
• Maintain responsibility for analysis and continuous monitoring of Cybersecurity and privacy policies, programs, compliance artifacts, and standards in support of government and industry security compliance, systems accreditation, and management.
• Administer the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure systems meet security and privacy requirements.
• Consult on assessments of the effectiveness of an organization’s IT security and privacy training program, including consulting on social engineering exercises to ensure training remains consistent with current Cybersecurity and privacy threats and policies and assisting with achieving full compliance with any or all laws and regulations.
• Bid and Proposal support if requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• An active secret clearance to be considered for this role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Math.
• 10 years of Systems Engineering Management and C4I Systems of Systems design and integration experience.
• Experience with eMASS and the RMF process.
• Communication and Interpersonal skills.
• Knowledgeable and understanding of how to register systems within the approved authoritative databases such as: DIPR-DON, eMASS, Risk Management Framework (RMF) security accreditation workflow.
• Understand what the NAO, and PEO responsibilities are with the RMF process and work package flow.
• Working knowledge of how to create or understand the authorization boundaries of a system or systems of systems diagram.
• Travel: 10-15% - requirement includes travel during the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Per our contractual agreement with the U.S. Government, a full-time employee “FTE” is required to work 1920 hours in the calendar year.
