As a member of the PMW 160 team, you will provide critical Program Management support to the Navy’s program office for tactical networks, providing mission effective, affordable and cyber resilient networks for Navy tactical forces. PMW 160 delivers integrated wide area, local networking and computing and data systems afloat to support a robust network of geographically dispersed Navy, joint service and coalition forces. PMW 160’s organization has three major divisions, each focused on developing, procuring and fielding products, which include Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES), Automated Digital Network System (ADNS), Piers, and In Service Networks and associated Science and Technology enhancements.

The Role:

Reporting to the Sentek Task Lead in San Diego, CA, you will provide support to PEO C4I PMW 160 for the acquisition, integration, delivery and support of interoperable C4I systems. PMW 160’s organization has three major divisions, each focused on developing, procuring and fielding products, which include Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES), Automated Digital Network System (ADNS), Piers, and In Service Networks and associated Science and Technology enhancements. This is a contingent position.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide administrative services to the PMW 160 Front Office and all PMW 160 Program and Project Offices as defined in the PMW 160 Front Office Admin Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Develop, implement and maintain administrative operating policies, process flow charts and procedures used to support administrative functions that support PMW 160.
  • Maintain a desk book of all operating procedures and processes used to support all administrative functions.
  • Track all document due dates and follow-up on all tickler notices prior to the document is due to ensure due dates are met. 
  • Be responsible for the collection, organization, filing and retrieval of PMW 160 program office documentation, including reports, correspondence, messages, meeting minutes, memos and all other incidental documentation associated with official PMW 160 business. 
  • Maintain and update appointment calendars for the PMW 160 Program Manager (PM), Deputy Program Manager (DPM), PAPMs, and APMs including travel, meetings, vacation, and action due dates as appropriate. 
  • Maintain and update the PMW 160 event calendar.
  • Maintain assigned PMW 160 conference room calendars, and serve as the single point of contact authorized to schedule and reserve assigned conference rooms.
  • Correspondence processing and tracking, including Message routing.
  • Bid and Proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

  • Active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position 
  • Two (2) years experience performing administrative and secretarial duties for individual(s) in an organization using automated office equipment, such as a computer.
  • One (1) year of program administrative experience in the Defense industry, Department of the Defense, or comparable Government Agencies
  • Knowlege of JPAS, N-ERP and/or NSERC SharePoint
  • Bachelor's degree in related field. Four (4) years of specialized administrative experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Per our contractual agreement with the U.S. Government, a full-time employee “FTE” is required to work 1920 hours in the calendar year.
