As a member of the PMW 160 team, you will provide critical Program Management support to the Navy’s program office for tactical networks, providing mission effective, affordable and cyber resilient networks for Navy tactical forces. PMW 160 delivers integrated wide area, local networking and computing and data systems afloat to support a robust network of geographically dispersed Navy, joint service and coalition forces. PMW 160’s organization has three major divisions, each focused on developing, procuring and fielding products, which include Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES), Automated Digital Network System (ADNS), Piers, and In-Service Networks and associated Science and Technology enhancements.

The Role:

Reporting to the PMW 160 Task Lead in San Diego, CA, you will provide PM support to the program office in successfully accomplishing program cost, schedule and performance goals and objectives while in the sustainment of programs and projects, from initial system deployment through end of system operations. You will assist with preparation of programmatic documentation including briefing materials, required to support the operations, modification, maintenance, sustainment of fielded systems. This is a contingent position.

What You'll Do:

  • Review proposals, studies, and reports and analyze the feasibility of accomplishing stated objectives and the impact to on-going and planned programs.
  • Develop a summary of all such reports and studies for management review and assess accomplishment and performance objectives.
  • Investigate, conduct surveys and compile statistics necessary to prepare reports, correspondence, messages and memoranda.
  • Bid and Proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

  • Active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in any of the following fields: Engineering, Systems Management, Information Technology Systems or Business Administration.
  • Four (4) years of experience and expertise as functional domain expert in cost, engineering, and deployment analysis, including: Documenting requirements based design, cross-functional integration, feasibility studies, and functional process specifications; evaluating alternatives and assessing risks and costs; assembling, preparing, and analyzing data for studies; ability to develop and manipulate statistical models.
  • Two (2) years Systems Analysis experience in the Defense industry, Department of the Defense, or comparable Government Agencies.
  • Per our contractual agreement with the U.S. Government, a full-time employee “FTE” is required to work 1920 hours in the calendar year.
