The Team:

As a member of the PMW 750 TacMobile team, you’ll provide programmatic acquisition support to the TacMobile program office within PMW 750 that is part of Program Executive Office, Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I). PMW 750’s TacMobile mission is to transform operational needs into effective and affordable TacMobile capabilities for Navy and Coalition warfighters.

 

Our mission is to build permanent and mobile ground stations to provide Navy's Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance aircraft (P-8A Poseidon and MQ-4C) with a persistent operational and tactical C4I infrastructure. TacMobile sites provide aircraft and aircrew with tools to conduct mission coordination, tasking, planning, pre-flight insertion data building, briefing, mission execution, post-mission debriefing, data management, and analysis. Quality engineering development, competent training services, accurate scheduling, positive logistics support, competent cyber hygiene, and resolving action items are vital to our continued success.

 

Our PMW-750 client routinely has monthly socials at local breweries and restaurants, annual holiday potlucks, and summer paella. Our team also wears team jerseys or Hawaiian shirts on Fridays. We are a close-knit group with a family atmosphere. In addition, Sentek plans an annual Summer picnic, Winter holiday party, and several other social events.

The Role:

Reporting to the TacMobile Assistant Program Manager, the Integrated Master Scheduler will support the development and coordination of several integrated master schedules that assist the program in acquisition and developments. Efforts will require close coordination with the Lead System Integrator and NIWC LANT, Charleston, SC and PMA 290.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide a critical path method (CPM) schedule, create and maintain a schedule baseline, status and monitor schedule progress, and conduct detailed schedule variance analysis, and brief findings to senior level management. Demonstrated ability to ascertain schedule needs and provide deliverables that exceed client expectations. 
  • Serve as liaison between team members assigned to a project and will coordinate project delivery including defining project scope, specifying deliverables, creating project plans and tracking project changes.
  • Maintain regular communications with team and government stakeholders to ensure appropriate steps are taken to resolve issues which may impede progress or compromise project objectives, along with supporting the creation of all deliverables required by contract for the project.
  • Creation of standard and custom reports from MS Project and Milestones.
  • Communicating progress of multiple schedules to management.
  • Coordinate project delivery including defining project scope, specifying deliverables, creating project plans and tracking project changes.
  • In conjunction with the program manager develops program plans and determines efficient and effective approaches to achieve assigned program objectives within the framework of company capabilities, company policies and procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Conducts status reviews and analyzes program schedule status (resources, schedule duration, activity constraints, relationships of activities and critical path).
  • Assists the program manager in critical program decision making, balancing functional recommendations and overall program performance objectives. Participates in the implementation of technical actions where necessary to best support program objectives.
  • Participates in and contributes to process/quality improvement teams and/or initiatives.  Identifies and recommends improvements to scheduling processes, practices or materials which lead to positive results in product quality.
  • Bid and Proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • Proficiency with MS Project 2010 or higher.
  • Proficient in schedule development and analysis, utilizing critical path methodology. Experience developing, providing status and updates to multiple complex projects with total activity lines counts greater than 500.
  • Ability to learn OnePager software for Microsoft Project schedule reports.
  • Demonstrated understanding and implementation of risk analysis, generating risk reports, and providing recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Experience facilitating schedule risk reviews as well as developing custom reports, layouts, and filters.
  • Understanding of current DoD Acquisition Policy.
  • Able to manage multiple schedules simultaneously.
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Organized and process oriented.
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office products; namely, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience showing ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.
  • Must possess the willingness and flexibility to cope with a changing environment and short deadlines.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with schedule analytics tools (i.e. For Project, Deltek Fuse, etc.) desired.
  • Completion of DAU Acquisition 101 desired.
